After over ten years sitting empty, the former ‘Baby Bi-Lo’ site at 505 N. Main Street in downtown Greenville is set for a dramatic redevelopment.

Oxford Capital Partners and Northpond Partners purchased the three-acre property in April 2025 for $6.75 million.

The developers plan to transform the 44,000-square-foot building into ‘N. Main,’ a vibrant boutique shopping center.

N. Main will highlight a mix of local and regional businesses, including a specialty grocer, a restaurant, coffee shop, fitness center, and salon.

Owner Harrison Horowitz hopes the center will become a lively community hub throughout the day.

Renovations include updated storefronts, new facades, more lighting, improved signage, and expanded parking for 178 cars.

The project awaits city approval, with plans up for review on October 16 and public input invited on August 26 at Unity Park.

Construction could begin early 2026, aiming to finish by late fall.

This sprawling 10,500-square-foot display features over 1,200 feet of tracks, intricately designed miniature scenery, and powerful locomotives—courtesy of the Sipping & Switching Society of North Carolina.

Organizers expect this captivating holiday attraction to draw crowds from both near and far, adding excitement and local pride to the season.

Attendees can browse more than 500 vendor booths packed with unique gifts and holiday décor, while enjoying family activities like an indoor snowball arena, North Pole kids’ play area, and visits with Santa.

Local favorites Six & Twenty Distillery and Methodical Coffee will offer tastings, enhancing the festive atmosphere.

Proceeds benefit Rotary Charities, uplifting Greenville County communities.

Greenville County Schools have achieved a record graduation rate of 90.6% for 2024-2025, far exceeding the state’s average of 86.7% and last year’s rate of 88.7%.

This impressive milestone highlights the district’s dedication to academic excellence and preparation for student success.

Out of 5,887 seniors, 5,335 earned diplomas, with 11 high schools surpassing the state average.

Mauldin, Woodmont, Riverside, and Eastside led the district with graduation rates above 95%.
