Goodwill at the Trail Opens in Greenville, Offering Unique Shopping Experience |
New store combines boutique, bookstore, and retail under one roof along Swamp Rabbit Trail |
Goodwill Industries of Upstate/Midlands South Carolina has unveiled its latest venture, Goodwill at the Trail, at 115 Haywood Road in Greenville.
This innovative store, directly connected to the Prisma Health Swamp Rabbit Trail, offers a unique shopping experience by combining three distinct concepts under one roof.
Shoppers can explore Auten’s Loft, a curated boutique featuring high-quality, specialty items at thrift prices.
For book enthusiasts, SecondStory provides a cozy thrift bookstore stocked with thousands of titles.
Additionally, the store includes a refreshed, modernized retail space offering a variety of clothing and kitchen supplies.
The grand opening took place on September 24 at 9 a.m., marking a significant milestone for Goodwill in the Upstate region.
“Goodwill at the Trail represents a bold new chapter for our organization and the communities we serve,” said Pat Michaels, President and CEO of Goodwill Industries of Upstate/Midlands South Carolina.
“Every item donated and every purchase made creates a pathway for someone to find a new career, allowing them to build a full, sustainable life for themselves and their families.”
In addition to its retail offerings, Goodwill at the Trail houses the Upstate Resource and Opportunity Center (ROC), a comprehensive hub providing training, career navigation, and wraparound services to help individuals secure meaningful employment.
To commemorate this launch, Goodwill introduced the Goodwill Legacy Wall Brick Campaign, inviting community members to leave a lasting legacy by securing a personalized brick embedded in the front wall of the new building.
For a recurring monthly gift of $20.25, supporters can contribute to Goodwill’s mission of transforming lives through the power of work.
“This isn’t just a fundraiser; it’s a chance to make your mark,” said Chunsta Miller, Vice President of Communication and Public Engagement.
“Every Goodwill participant has a story, and the brick campaign provides an opportunity for those stories to grow and flourish.”
Goodwill at the Trail is open to shoppers and trail-goers alike, inviting the community to be part of this new, mission-driven shopping destination. |
