Quote Of The Day

"Greenville is not just a city, it's a community where Southern hospitality shines bright."

Greenville’s own Spider-Man leapt to the rescue at Falls Park, saving two people stranded on the waterfall.

The 18-year-old hero, a familiar face downtown, acted quickly, scaling slippery rocks to reach those in danger and pulling them to safety.

Known for his everyday heroics, Greenville’s Spider-Man also spends his days picking up litter, greeting fans, and monitoring an EMS scanner to help where he’s needed most.

Certified in CPR, he frequently assists people in medical distress until first responders arrive.

Active on platforms like Instagram and TikTok, the “friendly downtown Spider-Man” recently adjusted his patrols to nighttime hours, following a string of local incidents and increased safety concerns.

His dedication, kindness, and growing presence bring reassurance and inspiration to the heart of Greenville.

Greenville is set to welcome The Pharmacy at Augusta, a unique American bistro opening at 15 Conestee Avenue in late September or early October.

This new restaurant honors the legacy of Campbell’s Pharmacy, a local favorite that operated at the site for seventy years.

Chef Nelson De Hoyos, previously with Hall’s Chophouse, will lead the kitchen, blending classic American fare with fresh, modern touches.

Guests can enjoy lunch, dinner, and weekend brunch, as well as a cocktail lounge and inviting outdoor patio.

General Manager Larry Bullock promises top-notch service tailored to the Augusta Road community.
